Beat the Streets Detroit is proud to announce the appointment of Matt Finesilver as the new Men’s Head Freestyle National Coach. A Greenwood Village, Colorado native, Finesilver brings a wealth of experience and accolades to the role. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s in management studies from Duke University, where he was a four-time NCAA qualifier at 174 pounds. In 2022, Finesilver transferred to the University of Michigan, securing a 26-8 record and earning All-Big Ten honors. Matt is also a Championship Wrestling Association (CWA) athlete and represented the New Jersey Mob in the first-ever CWA Showcase. He currently trains out of the Cliff Keen Wrestling Club in Ann Arbor and competes for Team Israel on the world senior circuit.
Finesilver’s extensive wrestling background, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable asset to Beat the Streets Detroit as he guides and inspires the next generation of wrestlers.
