Detroit has the highest number of children living in poverty in the entire country, with over 60% of children at or below the poverty line. Now, more than ever, our goal is to bring this unique sport to kids in Detroit who do not have access to enough quality programming and after school activities. Since its founding in 2009, BTS has instilled the concept of teaching leadership, integrity, health, teamwork, and respect through both recreational and competitive wrestling. if ever there were a sport that had the potential to be the emblematic sport of Detroit — it’s wrestling.
